In 2012, four community leaders in the West Valley noticed something missing — support for organizations west of Interstate 17. As a result, they felt called to act. When they gathered with other leaders, they shared a bold idea: create a nonprofit group dedicated to raising money for those in need. That idea soon became the West Valley Mavericks Foundation.
Today, the Mavericks are an all-volunteer nonprofit made up of business and community leaders. Their mission is to build a better West Valley through charitable events and support. Most importantly, they show up with passion, unity, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.
